I loved Raquel! She was so amazing and really took the time to understand my needs/wants in a new hairstyle. I have always played it safe when it came to my hair(same style and only a trim) and didn’t trust just anybody to do my hair. In fact I would travel out of state and go back home to go to the people I knew(this is Pennsylvania!), but when I started my journey in looking for a hairstylist that was an expert in curly hair-her named popped up in my search. I decided to follow her on social media first, and after taking the time in seeing how she deals with all her clients, takes continuing education to hone her craft- it was no doubt that I should at least do a consultation!
The consultation was such a safe space, she listened to all my concerns/issues, took note of direction I wanted to go. She made me feel like family and I knew I wanted to work with her. Now fast forward to today, I got my first haircut in idk how many years and when I say she delivered-boy did she!! I feel so amazing, beautiful and confident! I thought with cutting my hair shorter, I wouldn’t have lots options in terms of styling but she gave me the flexibility to do so.
Being new mom, I definitely needed something low maintenance but still stylish and she was able to make that happen. She has me hooked,, consider me a new loyal customer and will refer all my curly haired beauties to her! Don’t hesitate, book with her so you can feel this amazing too!
I went to Raquel for a curly cut. It was my first time and I was very nervous about it. She was super sweet and nice and really listened to me when I was explaining my hair and my concerns. She talked me through everything and reassured me that she could get my hair exactly how I wanted it. She took her time and explained every step in the process to me which was super helpful. She gave me product recommendations and much needed styling tips. I now am confident in my curly hair and my routine. I am forever grateful to Raquel for giving me such an amazing experience. I will be going back and I would recommend her to anyone!
